Legal Framework and Governance

Ethics begins where connection is remembered.

Future Shaping Ethics is established under Swiss law as a charitable, tax-exempt foundation. Its seat is in Switzerland, and its activities extend globally in collaboration with Indigenous and modern communities.

All donations and funds are used solely for charitable purposes and managed transparently. Board members act in an honorary capacity, without personal financial interest.

Foundation President: Amba Casturi O’Hara

Amba Casturi O’Hara is a researcher and facilitator exploring the field of deep memory and the reality-generating power of language.
She studied Psychology, Psychopathology, Neurophysiology, and Ethics at the University of Zurich and has lived, studied, and worked for many years with Indigenous teachers across Latin America.

For over two decades, Amba has guided workshops and lectures in Switzerland, Spain, Mexico, and Peru, offering spaces for inner inquiry and ethical transformation. Her work bridges scientific understanding with ancestral insight, revealing how language not only describes but creates reality.

As President of Future Shaping Ethics, Amba leads the Foundation’s vision of re-establishing the balance between human consciousness and the living world — weaving together academic, Indigenous, and experiential ways of knowing.

Board of Trustee: Nicoleta Antanasiu

Nicoleta Antanasiu brings over 20 years of experience in cultural studies and public administration to the Foundation. With a career rooted in the public sector, she has developed a refined ability to navigate complex bureaucratic systems, transform ideas into tangible outcomes, and sustain long-term projects with clarity and compassion.

Her work as Operations Manager for the municipal child welfare service and later as Advisor at the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs deepened her expertise in social systems and human development.

Four years ago, a journey to Peru brought her into close connection with Indigenous communities whose quiet strength and deep ecological knowledge left a lasting impression. That experience reshaped her path. Nicoleta is now preparing to relocate to Peru to dedicate herself fully to rainforest protection as a board member of Future Shaping Ethics.

She is deeply committed to supporting initiatives that protect biodiversity and fight deforestation — while ensuring that all efforts honour and collaborate with Indigenous leadership.

Board of Trustees: Silvia Garza

Silvia Garza is an expert in education and culture with a long-standing commitment to social transformation through learning.
Her career spans the development and implementation of public education policies in Mexico, as well as the creation of editorial collections, research papers, and teaching guides for educators, parents, and children.

Silvia’s work has been especially impactful in rural, marginalized, Indigenous, and high-risk communities across Mexico, Peru, and Chile.
